PILATES CHASED MY BACK PAIN AWAY...

I focus on balance and core strength. After delivery of my first child, sleepless nights and baby lifting weakened my core strength. Deterioration of my core led to Degenerative Disc Disease. I came across Pilates after failing many different treatments and medicines. Regular Pilates training brought an end to my long journey of chronic back pain. My experience inspired me to pursue further study of Pilates, thus becoming a Pilates instructor. Because of my back pain history, I started with 450 hours of Rehabilitation Pilates Comprehensive Certification Program combined with Classical Pilates Repertoire. Thorough understanding of human anatomy enhanced my training abilities. To further my knowledge I recently completed Level2 in Neuropilates Diploma Program and currently in pursuit of Level3 to help those who are suffering from neurological conditions. I have also joined the Balanced Body Instructor Training Program to diversify and deepen my teaching abilities as an instructor. Helping clients feel the positive change in their body brings me great joy and it is the most rewarding experience. People need to realize that there are many kinds of Pilates. My class focuses on mastering the core principles of Pilates, such as balance, control, and strength. Different clients bring unique challenges and I think that is one of the best things about being an Pilates instructor because I learn something new every time, big or small. I will continue my Pilates journey to give my clients attention in an open and encouraging way so that they can achieve their goals, whether they are new to Pilates or not. I hope I can be someone who gives off positive energy that makes clients feel a lot better in each class.
